One working session. A usable library by four o’clock.

No engineering time, nothing to install. Bring the person who knows where the documents live. Our onboarding lead runs the session with you.

  1. C.110:00

    Connect where your documents live.

Google Drive, Notion, Confluence and Slack. Read-only, and only the folders, spaces and channels you pick.

  2. C.210:20

Put the important ones on the Shelf.

Your SOC 2 Type II report, security policies, pen test summary, DPA and subprocessor list. Most teams shelve 15 to 40 documents.

  3. C.310:45

Load every questionnaire you've already filled out.

Past answers are the fastest route to house answers. Most teams bring 20 to 60, in whatever state they're in.

  4. C.412:00

    Lunch.

Firstpass reads everything while you eat.

  5. C.513:00

    Name your owners.

Who signs off on which sections. Usually three people.

  6. C.613:30

    Choose your starting house answers.

Firstpass groups your past answers by question and shows you where they disagree. “You've answered ‘Is data encrypted at rest?’ 31 times in 4 different ways. Pick the one that's true.”

  7. C.716:00

    Done.

A library you can draft from. Your first Firstpass draft usually goes out within the week, whenever the next questionnaire lands.

What can it read, and where does the finished sheet go?

Firstpass reads from Google Drive, Notion, Confluence and Slack. When a draft is signed off, Same Sheet attaches the finished file to the deal in Salesforce or HubSpot, so your AE never has to ask where it is.

Signed-off questionnaires are attached to the opportunity as a file, with a note listing any open rows.

What formats come back?

Their format, not ours. Excel in whatever layout the prospect built, CAIQ v4, SIG Lite, Word and PDF questionnaires. Merged cells, dropdowns and their 11 tabs stay where they were.

C.10

Web portals: an open row of our own.

Some prospects send a login to a questionnaire portal instead of a file. Firstpass drafts those answers, but you paste them into the portal yourself. It’s slower, and customers tell us so.

We’ll list portals here when we fill them natively, not before.
